Background
A ministry built on the belief that every person deserves a hand up
One On One Ministries was founded by Sherry Stoeppler with a conviction rooted in faith: that every person — regardless of their circumstances — is made by God with purpose, worth, and dignity. Based in Robertson County, Tennessee, the nonprofit serves victims of domestic violence, single parents, widows, veterans, children aging out of foster care, people with disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness.
The ministry’s approach is deeply personal. Rather than offering a free handout, One On One Ministries provides a helping hand up — pairing practical assistance with encouragement, mentorship, and a pathway toward healing and renewal. With eight distinct programs covering everything from clothing and furniture to home repairs, auto care, and life mentorship, the organization touches nearly every dimension of a person’s daily struggle.
What the ministry had in heart and action, it needed to match online — a digital presence that could communicate its mission clearly, attract volunteers and donors, and connect the people who need help most with the programs built for them.
“Sherry and her team built an ADA bathroom, laundry room and bedroom in my home. My husband and I are both disabled and on a fixed income. It is nice to sleep in a bed after years of sleeping in a chair.”— E & L T., Ministry Recipients
The Challenge
Communicating a complex, multi-program mission to three distinct audiences
One On One Ministries serves a uniquely wide audience: people in need seeking specific programs, volunteers looking to give their time and skills, and donors wanting to financially support a cause they can trust. Each audience has different questions, different motivations, and different entry points into the ministry. Building a single website that speaks authentically to all three — while clearly presenting eight distinct programs — required a thoughtful, structured digital strategy.
Eight distinct programs with no clear digital home to explain each one and drive engagement
Three separate audiences — recipients, volunteers, and donors — all needing different messaging and pathways
No SEO strategy to reach people searching for local nonprofit help, volunteer opportunities, or donation options
A deeply personal, faith-driven mission that risked feeling institutional if not communicated with warmth and authenticity
No centralized events, media, or blog presence to keep supporters engaged and updated
Dedicated program pages for all eight ministries with clear descriptions, purpose, and calls to action
Structured site architecture with separate contact pathways for general inquiries, volunteers, prayer requests, and employment
Local SEO strategy targeting Robertson County, Middle Tennessee, and relevant faith-based and nonprofit search terms
Warm, story-driven design language and content that centers real people, real testimonials, and the ministry’s faith foundation
Integrated media hub including a blog, event calendar, image galleries, and video ministry content
The Solution
A people-first WordPress website built to serve, inspire, and connect
360 Site Design approached the One On One Ministries project understanding that this wasn’t just a website build — it was a digital extension of a deeply human mission. The design, structure, and content strategy had to feel as personal and genuine as the ministry itself, while also functioning as a practical tool for three very different audiences.
Website Design & Development
360 Site Design built oneononeministries.org on WordPress, giving Sherry Stoeppler and her team full control to update content, post to the blog, manage events, and respond to inquiries without technical help. The design balances warmth and professionalism — faith-forward without being exclusionary, approachable without sacrificing clarity. Photography of real program participants and volunteers anchors every page in authentic human story.
The site’s architecture was built around its audiences: a clear Programs menu presenting all eight ministries, a Fellowship section for community and spiritual engagement, a Media hub for the blog, galleries, and video content, and four distinct Contact pathways ensuring every type of visitor finds exactly the right door to walk through.
Program Pages & Content Strategy
Each of the eight programs received its own dedicated page with a clear description of who it serves, what it provides, and how to get involved. From Dyllen’s Closet (clothing and essentials for children and the elderly) to Rags to Riches Mentoring (life transformation and obstacle removal), Ezekiel’s House (on-site housing), and Ignite Hope Auto Care (free vehicle maintenance for those in need) — each program is presented with the dignity it deserves and the clarity that turns a website visitor into an engaged participant.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
360 Site Design built a local SEO foundation to help One On One Ministries be found by the people who need it most — individuals searching for community assistance, home repair help, clothing donations, or volunteer opportunities in Robertson County and across Middle Tennessee. On-page optimization, structured content, and an active blog work together to build consistent organic visibility for the ministry’s programs and mission.
Donor & Volunteer Engagement
The site integrates directly with the ministry’s donation platform and presents clear, compelling calls to give throughout. Volunteer inquiry forms, an employment page, and a Kingdom Sowing section actively recruit the people of faith who make the programs possible. The Gathering — a monthly community event — and the ministry’s events calendar keep supporters connected and coming back.
“I didn’t think I would have anything for my sons to open on Christmas morning. Someone told me about One on One Ministries and they were able to help with gifts for Christmas this year.”— Mary G., Ministry Recipient

Key Takeaways
Why the 360 Site Design approach worked
Story is the strategy
For a faith-based nonprofit, authentic human story is the most powerful conversion tool. 360 Site Design built content and design around real testimonials and real people, making every page feel like an invitation rather than an advertisement.
Structure serves three audiences at once
By designing clear navigation pathways for recipients, volunteers, and donors separately, the site ensures no visitor feels lost — and every person who arrives with a purpose finds it quickly.
Local SEO connects need to resource
Ranking locally for terms like “community assistance Robertson County” or “volunteer opportunities Middle Tennessee” means the people who need these programs most can actually find them when they search.
Media keeps the community engaged
The integrated blog, event calendar, and gallery give supporters a reason to return — keeping volunteers motivated, donors informed, and the broader community connected to an ongoing, living mission.
